Typical recovery
Compression wrap for 1–2 weeks; tightness and numbness resolve gradually.
Recommended post-operative care
- Overnight or 24-hour nursing on the first night
- Wrap and garment care
- Neck-safe positioning and pillow support
- Transportation to follow-up visits
What we watch for
- Avoid neck flexion and heavy lifting
- Speak and chew gently in the first days
